James Bond Is Back!

After a long layoff, 007 is finally getting back his license to kill.

The James Bond franchise got a creative shot in the arm back in 2006 with the casting of the ruggedly handsome Daniel Craig as the tuxedo-clad superspy in Casino Royale.

Now three years since the last mission, 2008's Quantum of Solace, and after MGM's teetering finances nearly deep-sixed the Craig-led series, here are five things Flemingites oughta know about Bond's next great adventure:

1. The Title's a Mystery, but About That Release Date: Commit it to memory. Nov. 9, 2012. Now that MGM has finally gotten its house in order, that day will live in Bond history as the day the next movie in the secret agent's now 40-year-old canon—currently being referred to by its working title of Bond 23—hits theaters.

2. Who's Back: Dame Judi Dench let slip Bond 23's start date, telling the U.K.'s Express she is indeed due to reprise her role as 007's tough-as-nails boss, M, for the seventh time this November. "I don't know the location yet, but hopefully it will be somewhere nice," said the 76-year-old acting legend. "I can't tell you much more, but I do enjoy ­playing M as she is such a strong character. I like being bossy, and my grandson thinks its cool that I'm in Bond." Also returning is the screenwriting duo of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who wrote the last five entries.

3. Is Daniel Free This Fall? With shooting expected to commence in November 2011, Craig's increasingly busy schedule will have cleared up, with four of his big 2011 films in the pipeline: The would-be summer blockbuster Cowboys & Aliens, the drama Dream House with new squeeze Rachel Weisz, the Steven Spielberg-directed performance-capture fest The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn and the heavily hyped English-language redo of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

4. And the Villain Is: Good question. But there are a number of talented actors whom producers are eyeing to follow in the footsteps of such great baddies as Dr. No, Blofeld, Goldfinger and Le Chiffre. Oscar-winner Javier Bardem is rumored to be in talks as Bond's main nemesis while Ralph Fiennes is being bandied about to play a "dark, complex" role.

5. Bond Will Take His Marching Orders From... A 007 film needs a director who will shake things up, much like Bond's trademark martinis—someone to step in and keep it fresh, but at the same time, not drift too far from the classic and the familiar. Enter American Beauty director Sam Mendes, whom producers tapped for this go-round to maintain the emotional depth the series began to explore when Craig came aboard.

We're looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

Na sasa Shakira ametangaza kuwa yupo na nyota huyo ambapo siku kadhaa zilizopita alitangaza katika ukurasa wake wa twitter huku akiweka picha ya Pique akimshika kwa mikono yake.

Sambamba na picha hiyo lakini pia Shakira ameandika kwa lugha ya kiispania “Les presento a mi sol” ikiwa na maana “wewe sasa ni jua langu".

Timu ya Taifa ya Tanzania “Taifa Stars” jana ilifanikiwa kuibuka na ushindi wa bao 2-1 dhidi ya timu ya taifa ya Afrika ya kati katika mchezo wa awali kuwania kufuzu kucheza fainali za kombe la mataifa ya Afrika mwakani.

Mechi hiyo ambayo Stars ilihitaji ushindi kwa hali na mali ili kujiweka sawa katika mbio hizo za kuwania fainali hizo zitakazofanyika Gabon na Equatorial Guinea ilishuhudia wenyeji wakikandikwa bao katika kipindi cha kwanza na kuwafanya kwenda mapumziko wakiwa nyuma,

Stars ilisawazisha dakika ya 49 kwa bao lililotiwa kimiani na Shaaban Nditi kabla ya Mbwana Samatha kufunga bao la ushindi katika dakika ya 89.

Stars ilicheza mechi ya kwanza dhidi ya Algeria ambapo ilitoka sare ya kufungana bao 1-1 kabla ya kukubali kichapo cha bao 1-0 kutoka kwa Morocco ambayo ilicheza ikiwa nyumbani kwao.

Ushindi wa mechi ya jana umerejesha imani kwa watanzania kuweza kusonga mbele katika michuano hiyo muhimu kwa mataifa ya afrika.

Taifa Stars kibarua kigumu leo

NI kibarua kigumu pengine kuliko vingine vyote. Hivyo ndivyo unavyoweza kuzungumziwa mchezo wa leo baina ya Taifa Stars dhidi ya Jamhuri ya Afrika ya Kati  kusaka tiketi ya kucheza  fainali za Afrika mwaka 2012.Mchezo huo muhimu wa leo kwenye Uwanja wa Taifa jijini Dar es Salaam unazikutanisha timu hizo ambazo zikiwa katika mazingira tofauti.

Mechi hiyo ni mtihani mwingine kwa kocha Jan Poulsen kusaka mafanikio kwa timu hiyo na kuwarejeshea imani Watanzania baada ya mchezo  wa awali  michuano huyo kufungwa na Morocco kwa bao 1-0 kwenye uwanja wa nyumbani.

Kwa vyovyote vile, Poulsen ambaye ameipa mazoezi ya karibu wiki moja Stars  anahitaji matokeo mazuri leo na kuanza  kupata taswira ya ya uelekeo gani  timu yake  inao katika Kundi D, ambalo mechi nyingine itakuwa kesho kati ya Algeria na Morocco.

Afrika ya Kati ambao wanaongoza kundi hilo  watashuka dimbani chini ya kocha wao, Jules Acorsi wakitaka kuendelea kuongoza kundi kwa kujiongezea pointi zaidi ya nne walizo nazo hadi  sasa baada ya kuichapa Algeria 1-0 na kutoka suluhu dhidi ya  Morocco.

Bieber, Rihanna & U2 To Record Japan Benefit Album

Some of music’s biggest names are lending their support to Japan with a compilation benefit album, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Universal Music artists Justin Bieber, Bon Jovi, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and U2 are just some of the music superstars who will contribute songs to the digital benefit album, which will aid those affected by the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that wreaked havoc on the island nation earlier this month.

The artists and Universal Music Group will donate their royalties and proceeds from the album’s worldwide sales to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The album’s track listing, release date and title have not been finalized.
